About the Role

At CBI, students will have the opportunity to utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles while in the field. Under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), students will:
• Be taught and required to use the following methods in order to reduce problem behaviors amongst children: Verbal Behavior Method, Discrete Trial Teaching, Natural Environment Teaching, and others. Methods used will vary and be determined on a case-by-case basis
• Be required to track progress and behaviors using specified data collection method
• Learn and be required to complete the following throughout their internship: take session notes, graph data, maintain a logbook, and utilize stimuli materials for programming
