Ground Education

At Ground Education our goal is to educate the whole child and we passionately believe in the power of nature to teach, inspire, affirm, and connect. Our award-winning education program provides elementary students in the Long Beach Unified School District with hands-on, monthly, garden-based lessons at school that encourage students to dig in the dirt, make meaningful connections with nature, explore key classroom concepts outdoors, and build awareness of fresh and nutritious foods. We are looking for multiple interns to join us at schools to help support lessons as well as an intern to help with our social media communications. If you are interested in education, social justice, nonprofit management or child development, this is a great opportunity to help students of varying ages. Nature is a source of strength and connection that we need now more than ever!
