About the Role

Under supervision, the Public Affairs Intern will:
 Attend meetings as needed to observe airport management and operations
 Assist with special events, outreach activities, and workshops
 Set up booths for events, speak to residents about the Airport and distribute promotional material
 Assist in the writing of Airport messages for the website, social media, and other formats
 Other duties as required

Requirements

Qualifications:
 Strong public speaking skills
 Customer service experience
 Ability to interact with the public and work independently
 Writing skills
 Knowledge of the Airport industry is a plus
 Enrolled in or recent graduate of an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business or a field related to the Airport Industry.
