About the Role

Internship Training
1. Customer service skills: Intern will speak and provide support to domestic violence survivors through Trauma inform methods.
2, Case management: Intern will learn to provide support to clients through safety planning and developing goals.
3. Hotline: Intern will learn to answer the phone and provide support and resources
Intern Roles/Responsibilities
1. Hotline calls, donations, safety planning, service planning
2. Interns will shadow staff and learned how to provide services through trauma inform methods
3. Scheduling is flexible; we offer internship experience 7 days a week.

Requirements

Requirement are completing a 40 hour domestic violence training either before or during internship. Su casa will pay for ½ of the training and if the intern completes a one-year internship, Su Casa will reimburse the other ½. Trainings range from $150 - $120.
Intern must also go through a live scan before starting internship. Su Casa will reimburse for the live scan.
