The Mental Health-Intern position provides opportunities for individuals to use their commitment of time and talents to engage, empower and advocate towards achieving a more equitable society and foster an ever-improving quality of life for the LGBTQ community through delivering mental health wellness services including intake, case management, and counseling services. The Mental Health Program assists individuals, couples, and families to enhance interpersonal relationships, improve healthy communication, decrease violence, address substance abuse, improve self-esteem and provide for a greater sense of safety and well-being in the lives of our community members.
