About the Role

Responsibilities
 Attend program twice a week.
 Develop lesson plans and activities for the week
 Tutoring and mentoring
 Review recent homework assignment and test scores, and work through problems or questions
that the student did not answer correctly
 Supervise children at all times
 Communicate with supervisor about trouble areas or any other issues that require attention
 Keep Children’s room clean and organize
 All interns are required to plan and organize an activity or fieldtrip for the children.
Activities: music lessons, book club, athletic conditioning, etc.
Field Trips: Disneyland, bowling, school tours, visiting he aquarium, etc.

Requirements

Qualifications
 Either pursuing or completion of a BA degree
 Previous experience working with youth (preferred)
 Excellent communication skills
 Ability to pass background check
 Ability to develop positive rapport with students
 Bilingual: Spanish & English (Preferred)
